OUR STORY

From Forgotten to Iconic. The Story of The Mayfair Motel.

We bought her on 1 November 2024. We opened our doors on 1 May 2025. In between was a full renovation driven by hospitality experience, a team of local designers and trades, and the quiet belief that if we just trusted the process, she would come back better than ever.

She did. Since opening, word on the street is we are iconic, an absolute gem, and apparently we have brought the cool back to Hastings. We are pretty stoked about that.

As much as we love a good pup, unfortunately The Mayfair is a no-pets zone.
Check-in is from 2pm. Check-out is by 10am. Early birds and night owls, read on.
We will always do our best. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability so get in touch before your stay and we will see what we can sort. Late check-outs may incur an additional fee.
No stress. We accommodate late arrivals. Just let us know in advance and we will send through your late check-in instructions.
Yes, and good WiFi at that. Complimentary high-speed WiFi is available in every room and throughout the pool area. It is all in your check-in details.
Absolutely. Complimentary off-street parking for all registered guests, right outside your room. One vehicle per room.
